I have the wonderful pleasure to introduce my guest blogger Franchesca A Pinamang for this week, for our Real Live Stories From Across The World articles about single parenting.
She is a truly inspirational, strong, beautiful, smart and warm hearted, resilient young woman, who successfully balances her life as a single mother, her job, as well as her compassion and mission to support others. I hope this piece encourages and inspires you.
Triggers: what are your negative triggers what makes you tick and why.
Once you find your triggers, you will be able to deal with the root cause.
You will be able to adjust your mindset and emotions, so that it is no longer a trigger.
Do not pretend, do not fake smile it, it’s a trigger, deal with it.
I personally have a few triggers and as I am on this journey of personal growth, I am learning to deal with them.
*The Trigger “Single Mother”
I USED to think people are judging me.
I used to say to my children smile, be polite, even if there is a issue lets sort it out at home.
I would get invited to places and stress my children out about their outfits and attitude.
I would try and do everything, I would try and know everything, I would try and be everything.
The voices, people are judging you because you are a single mother.
Church, on the bus, in the supermarket , in the hospital even on holiday.
“Aww bless her she is on her own” I was not on my own but that’s how I felt at times.
Know that people will judge you regardless, you being single, double, triple.
It’s how you respond or don’t that counts.
We fight ourselves to lose ourselves.
Find your trigger, deal with it and let it go.
I hope you have enjoyed this week's blog "Real Live Stories From Across the World" written by my amazing guest blogger Franchesca A Pinamang.
